Description
Lightweight, Durable Nylon Filament with Carbon Fiber
Spectrum PA12 CF15 is an advanced technical filament reinforced with 15% carbon fibers, offering exceptional strength, rigidity, and dimensional stability. It provides outstanding thermal resistance, withstanding temperatures up to 170°C, making it ideal for applications in extreme conditions. The filament is also resistant to chemicals and moisture, making it suitable for demanding industrial environments.
The 15% carbon fiber reinforcement ensures better layer adhesion, resulting in greater print durability. With its stress-relief technology, Spectrum PA12 CF15 offers excellent Z-axis strength and dimensional stability, allowing for complex prints without warping.
With its reduced weight (10% lighter compared to PA6 CF15) and strong interlayer adhesion, PA12 CF15 is an ideal material for professional projects where precision, durability and resistance to external factors are essential. It is a reliable solution for engineering and industrial use.
Tip: Due to the essential content of chopped carbon fiber, it is recommended to use nozzles with diameters exceeding the standard value of 0.4mm. The presence of carbon fiber may also cause wear of standard nozzles; thus, it is recommended to use hardened steel or ruby nozzles for prolonged application of Spectrum PA12 CF15.
Key Features:
15% carbon fiber reinforcement
10% lighter than PA6 CF15
High thermal resistance up to 170°C
Reduced moisture absorption compared to standard PA12 nylon
Dimensional stability and no shrinkage
