Status

Open:  is the initial status of a lead when newly created. the goal is to contact the lead within 72 hours. to get the best picture of the lead profile, please pay attention these key facts:

  • Quote asked, or not?
  • Was the lead rightfully assigned (country correct)?
  • Campaign
  • Lead source
  • Industry

Contact Made: Was an email sent? Phone call? The goal is to get a response and move into a conversation with the contact.

In order to not forget leads and avoid leads to be “stuck” in this status, please have 3-5 contact attempt within 3 weeks before moving the lead to MQL. Salesforce will also notify you to within the time frame
